PIXEL-PAINTER ADVENT
It's here, the official XWK PIXEL-PAINTER Advent Calendar 2025! Numerous artists from the XWK community have created wonderful pixel art. In this guide, you'll learn how to set up and use your PIXEL-PAINTER for the advent calendar.
Before you can use the advent calendar, you need to complete two steps:
⚡ Flash Firmware
First, you need to flash the advent calendar firmware onto your PIXEL-PAINTER.
When flashing, make sure the PIXEL-PAINTER is turned on (Note: the ON/OFF labeling is swapped! 🤪)
📶 Configure WiFi
You need to connect the PIXEL-PAINTER to your WiFi network.
🎄 Usage
After setup, you can use the advent calendar:
- When you turn on the Pixel-Painter, you'll see the number of today on the display. Before December 1st, "00" will be displayed.
- Press the "A" button to open the calendar window and see the day's picture.
- Press "A" again to see the artist's name.
- Use the "left" and "right" buttons to switch to other days (when available).
- If something unexpected happens (Catch a bug ™️ 🐞 🤓), turn the PIXEL-PAINTER off and on again to restart.
