PIXEL-PAINTER WIFI CONFIGURATION
In this guide, we'll explore how to connect your PIXEL-PAINTER to your WiFi network!
WIFI CONFIGURATION
- Turn on your PIXEL-PAINTER.
- The PIXEL-PAINTER creates its own WiFi network (This is called "AP-Mode = Access-Point").
- On the PIXEL-PAINTER's display, the WiFi name scrolls by in blue: e.g. "PIX_A1B2" or similar.
- Go to the WiFi settings on your computer or phone.
- Connect to the PIXEL-PAINTER WiFi network (e.g. "PIX_A1B2").
-
Tap "Yes" if your device asks: "This network has no internet access. Keep connection?"
- Now open a web browser and open this address:
http://192.168.4.1
Note: Make sure you wrote http:// without "s" (not https://)!
- Now select your regular WiFi network and enter the corresponding password.
- If you can't find your WiFi: it only works with 2.4GHz WiFi. Try using a phone hotspot instead.
- The PIXEL-PAINTER now saves your settings and restarts.
- If you now see only a few blue dots briefly during the restart, it worked!
- If you instead see the blue text again ("AP-Mode"), turn the PIXEL-PAINTER off and on again.
- If you still end up in the blue "AP-Mode", your WiFi credentials were probably incorrect. Start the WiFi configuration from the beginning again and make sure you have the correct WiFi password.
